Green Island Memorial Day

Time: Lineup: 5:30pm
Stepoff: 6:00pm
Host: Village of Green Island

New Parade
Line up at Municipal Center (19 George Street).

The parade will start at the WWI park at the intersection of George St & Hudson Avenue. There will be a brief ceremony at 6:00PM and then the parade will kick off. The parade will head north on George Street where we will stop again at the Vietnam Memorial (corner of George & Market) for a brief presentation. The parade will then continue North on George Street. We will take a left at the
intersection of George & Arch Street. We will head west on Arch Street and will take a right onto Cohoes Avenue. The parade will end at 35 Cohoes Avenue, The American Legion Curtain Post. There will be a brief ceremony after the parade.

Parking is available in a few different locations. We have a municipal lot across of the WWI park at 10 Hudson Avenue. There is the Ford Parking Lot at 75 Tibbits Avenue. The parade will end at the American Legion and their address is 35 Cohoes Avenue.
