HVVFA Parade
June 20, 2009 (Sat) - Lake George, NY

Time: Lineup: 11am
Stepoff: 12pm
Location: Parade Route
Host: Hudson Valley Volunteer Firemen's Association
Sponsor: Delmar Fire Department

Directions

The parade runs for less than a mile through Lake George Village on Canada Street and is about a 1 hour drive from Delmar. We are the 2nd Unit in the 3rd Division, #62 in the lineup (pink stars on the parade route map; link below) and we step off at 12 noon.

To get to the start of the parade route, take 87 North (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 22. This puts you on Route 9, right where you need to be for our lineup. The start of the parade is a little bit south of the ramp, a right turn at the exit, adjacent to the Georgian Resort. The link below, while displaying a map of the parade route and how to get there, should also be sufficient for navigating the backroads to the end of the parade route. Hopefully, a lot of us may spend the day there afterwards to swim, play mini-gold, eat, or whatever. So, don't forget to pack accordingly.
