Qualifications (Fife/Private): - To qualify for the rank of Private, the Fifer must pass off all songs listed above plus an optional song of their choice (excluding songs already listed in the rank system).
- All songs must be memorized and performed without the aid of sheet music.
- Must also pass off Color Guard Drill & know signals of the Mace Drill.
- The tester must be a Fifer of the rank of Corporal or higher.
